Safe 4 Summer Traffic Operation

On 23rd July 2025, officers from the Farnworth Neighbourhood Team have conducted a traffic operation in two areas of concern highlighted by local residents. 

Upwards of 50 vehicles were stopped with drivers being spoken to in relation to speeding, mobile phone use and driving without seatbelts. 24 Traffic Offence Reports were issued for a mixture of different traffic offences. One arrest was made on suspicion of drug driving. 

Traffic Operations will continue throughout the Summer to address the concerns of residents with the intention of making roads safer for all members of the public across Bolton.
